Escuche la Música is an MP3 collective, which contains songs that I love to listen to, and I thought you might enjoy as well. There are only a few songs posted at one time, and they change whenever new songs catch my attention. As of now, I do not take requests, as the intention of this site is just to post songs that I have found on my own and love. Enjoy!

Håll Om Mig Nu - I first heard this song as part of a music video for the anime Princess Tutu (you can see the video here). There is just something about the beat and vocals that just move me. I have no idea what the lyrics mean, but I love this song to pieces.
Here With Me - A nice song by Dido, this is on a CD that I have called "The Classic Chillout Album" that I picked up one day while at Barnes and Noble. This is just a very pleasant song to listen to, and I love the strings in the intro.
La Donna e Mobile - Not many people have heard of the East Village Opera Company, so I figured I'd share my favorite song by this group. While I don't get too excited about the original opera version of this song, this version is really well-done and catchy.
Melancholy Rose - I have a thing for opera or classical music mixed with techno/trance. This song is one of my favorites by Operatica, which (as if you couldn't guess) mixes opera and techno. Another song to check out is "Ave Maria."
Muñequita Tuya - I was searching online one day for decent female Spanish singers to suppliment my Noelia and Thalía CDs when I stumbled on Alih Jey. Needless to say, her Gotas de Piel CD is one of the best music purchases I've made. There are other songs on that CD that I love, but this one is my favorite.
