Grand Vegas Pictures
This is my room before we went on the trip. It's all messy because I was still packing, and I'm not the neatest packer in the world.
FI was playing with my camera before we left, but Lorenzo refused to let me take his picture. I got him later, though.
For the trip, we rented a Ford Excursion so that Mom wouldn't put the miles on her car, and we had a lot of room this way.
This is the inside of the Excursion as seen from the first row. Yes, this is a very long vehicle.
This is the Excursion as seen from the third row. Yes, it's still long.
I took this shot around three times, and I don't think Lorenzo ever noticed. This is what long road trips do to you.
After a long road trip to the hotel near the Grand Canyon, Mom and Lorenzo decided to rest, and I decided to take pictures since I was awake.
When we went to visit the actual Grand Canyon, I was able to take a picture of Lorenzo.
We went on a "Jeep tour," which was led by a native Hopi indian. However, the flute that he's playing here isn't of Hopi origin, so it's kind of funny if you think about it.
Lorenzo was being a typical tourist, and we took a picture of him when we were allowed to walk around during the Jeep tour.
It was cold, I was hungry and tired, so I look a but pissed off here. Don't blame me; it was really cold!
This is the ghetto "jeep" that we rode in. Essentially, this was a Ford F-150 that had the railings from the side taken out and a tent placed on top of it.
Here's Mom checking out of the hotel in Tusayan, the village near the Grand Canyon where we stayed. I was being crazy, and it seems like the receptionist knows that.
Mom also likes to be a tourist, and she made us take a picture in front of this part in the hotel where they had a waterfall or something. (I don't even remember.)
This is our room in the ghetto hotel in Las Vegas. It looks nice at first, but it was really small, and I couldn't even fit in the bathroom. (Maybe that's just me.)
